5. Edo’s is too expensive and it takes FOREVER to get a table there. It is delicious though.

6. Joe’s Inn. And I think Susan will agree with me there. It’s incredibly cheap, and you get a metric ton of food. Enough for you and all your roommates to eat for the next week. You just have to venture east of the boulevard. :)

7. I’m with Tess… It’s definitely cheap for the amount of food you get, and it’s not half bad. And it’s only a couple of blocks east of the boulevard… so it’s ok ;)

8. Don’t get me wrong, I will eat at Joe’s every night if you let me, but pasta at Edo’s is just about exactly the same price as Spaghetti Albert and Joe’s doesn’t serve broccoli rabe.

   I did figure out how to make my favorite dish at Edo’s at home though, and it costs me about a dollar.

9. You’re right, broccoli rabe is the best thing in the universe. I haven’t been to Edo’s in like three years so I have no idea how much stuff costs there. If it’s just as cheap as Joe’s, and the portions are as huge, I’d say go for it.

10. Cheap can be relative. Good is the true operative word. Italian places that I like (and should provide enough food for leftovers) are Maldini’s on Forest Hill, Nick’s Roman Terrace on Broad (their rolls are fantastic!), Italian Kitchen West on Broad (great homemade Italian sausage), Roma’s on Staples Mill (pizza and pasta), and Angelo’s on Midlothian (pizza).
