Anyone else get this glossy door hanger from Richmond City Schools? Have things have gotten so bad they must advertise to get people to enroll?

I wonder how much money they spent producing and distributing those.

The RTD headline: “Richmond schools kick off effort to improve their image”

Maybe putting this much time, energy, and resources into reducing the dropout rate would improve their image too?

Not a one has been spotted in my Church Hill neighborhood…my guess is that some fancy-schmancy consultants crunched some demographics and decided that the Hill wasn’t worth it

True, I haven’t seen a single flyer in the east end. They should have atleast promoted the elementary schools. My daughter really loves it at Bellevue. I wish we had a good middle and high school worth promoting.

I take that back…I wish downtown would see that it is high time to build a new school in the east end and/or form school choices when they find themselves unable to bother with the schools that are in existence.
