Texas Beach is great! Whether you go up upriver or downriver, it is fantastic.

I go over to the southside, I think the 42nd st. entrance to the park, then walk across the rocks and swim.

Belle Isle/Hollywood Rapids for swimming though I mountain bike all along the trail system. Need to check out Texas Beach sometime. I hear it’s far more laid back than Belle Isle or Pony Pasture.
