Why on earth would you put salt on a watermelon?

half my family puts salt on their melons, but I think it’s gross. No Salt.
I guess I am going to be forced to bring my own salt to Watermelon Fest.
You people don’t understand how great salt is on food. Salt on any melon is delish! Especially cantaloupe.
Salt goes well on just about any fruit or vegetable. Corn, green beans, tomatoes, shall I go on?
salt for watermelon! for the cantaloupe, salt and pepper!
