VeggieFest takes the (carrot) cake
VeggieFest is happening this Saturday, June 23, just up the road at the Azalea Gardens at Bryan Park. Things kick off at noon, and the festival features vendors, entertainment, speakers, and of course, food.
Highlights include
- A farmers market, with locally grown produce.
- Cooking demonstrations by talented chefs, including the chef of the Washington Redskins
- A moonbounce (for kids only, drats)
Local businesses like Ellwood Thompson’s, CaryTown Teas, and Thai Diner will be there as well.
