Tokyo Market

From tipster Stephanie:

If anyone hasn’t checked out the Tokyo Market on Shepherd (where love of chocolate used to be) they should. It’s an awesome store, great selection of teas and groceries like sushi ingredients, noodles, etc., gorgeous ceramics, miscellany ranging from paper umbrellas to ginger graters, and an irresistible junk food aisle where you can stock up on things like sweet potato fries and really cute candies. Also a wonderful proprietor.

I couldn’t find their website — if someone knows leave a comment.

  1. Those who haven’t been to Tokyo Market, should indeed go. You have to try their Yan Yan Snack Food, and Japanese Sodas. It’s worth a try.

  2. I think the Tokyo Market is on N Colonial Ave. I’ve been there once and bought some stuff–very cool place.

  3. Yes, Tokyo Market is on Colonial Ave. Their formal address is 2820 West Cary Street but it is actually down Colonial Ave on the right.
The store is amazing. I love it.
