Still haven’t signed up for the Monument Ave. 10k? Better Hurry…

Time is running out if you want to participate in the 2007 Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k. The event is limited to 24,000 participants this year and as of today we are already 90% full. For those that don’t have a calculator handy, that means the 2007 Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k has surpassed last year’s record of 20,119 registrants!

We anticipate the event reaching capacity and closing soon. Guarantee yourself a spot in the event by signing up online today at www.sportsbackers.org.

  1. For anyone who’s never done it, its a pretty awesome experience. I gave it a shot last year and was impressed with how many people were there to cheer the runners on. There were also several bands along the way to add some awesome running music.

There were even homeless people giving their encouragement. Richmond rocks.

  2. I ran it last year and had a blast… i am bummed out because I had knee surgery in october and still haven’t fully recovered… plus the 20 lbs I’ve put on since is really not helping. But the race is awesome. Wish I was doing it this year. Richmond does rock.

  3. I have been doing it for the last two years and its an awesome experience. Unfortunately the training team i joined dont register you for the event and I was under that impression. So now even though I trained for it, I cant run in it. Called sportsbacker today and they said no dice. I dont know if it is allowed but in case anyone would like to give up their registeration of 10k, I would be very happy to take it off their hands.
