Special Delivery: Lexus slams into Carytown Ukrops

Early this morning a Lexus ES-300 crashed into the Carytown Ukrops shortly after opening around 7am.

From RTD, the car “crashed through the front of the organic foods section, just to the left of the store’s main entrance lobby.”

Carytown Ukrops remains open.

UPDATE:

NBC12 reports that the driver accidently stepped on the gas instead of the brake. Oops. Video

  1. Maybe it was an ET employee. JOKE.

  2. I do like the Alanis Morissette-type irony of the yuppy Lexus sitting crumpled in the organic food section of Ukrops.

  3. Ukrops now has drive thru?

  4. At least nobody was hurt.

And sorry, but this spelling error is driving me nuts (especially as it was on the NBC12 website too!!):

break = what happened to the window in the organic section of Ukrops when the car crashed through it

brake = the pedal the idiot driver apparently thought he was pushing when he pushed the gas pedal

  5. Fixed. Thanks, Melanie.
