VCU has the largest student body in the state. Of the top 5 schools in Virginia in terms of student population, VCU is # 1 however it is the only school of the 5 to not to have a football program. School spirit for the VCU athletic teams is at an all-time high. A football team would offer more opportunities for athletic scholarships and increase VCU's endowments. As well as increase VCU's boundaries, safety and annual fiscal gain. A Football team is just what VCU needs. VCU has the largest student body in the state.
