RTD taking the day off?

RTD

Did the Richmond-Times Dispatch publish a paper today? It’s 7:30 am and Google reader, which I have plugged into RTD’s nifty RSS feeds, has nothing from them. I visited their website: no news. Maybe it’s just a slow news day.

Does anyone read the “print” edition anymore? I had a weekend subscription for about two months, which was promptly cancelled after I realized all I looked at were the Sunday coupons and completed the crossword puzzle.

  1. RSS feeds updated at 9:28 am. Come on RTD - you can do better than that!

  2. We do apologize for the technical issues that caused our CMS not to populate on time. We had a small issue in our datacenter that caused publishing to stall for a bit. Data was actually in our CMS, but we had a hard-time getting it live.

    Gotta love technology.

We do apologize. We are, however, delighted you use our RSS feeds! FANTASTIC.
