Richmond joins cities world wide in Scientology protests

Richmond joined London, Amsterdam, Sydney, and other cities across the world in protests against the Church of Scientology. About ten protesters stood outside the Carytown Church of Scientology with clever homemade signs: “Honk if you hate Scientology.”

The protests are part of a larger, largely online, movement termed Project Chanology. The goal of the project is to “to bring down the Church of Scientology in its present form.”

Today marked, what would have been, the 49th birthday of Lisa McPherson.
