I am so upset, we were in the westend today and we were going to go by Rainbow and get some blueberry doughnuts, only to find them gone !!! Boo hoo !!!! Please Chow, there are lots of empty building over here in Chesterfield county. PLEASE. PLEASE, PLEASE, you have the best doughnuts in town, don’t let your great gift of making people really happy go to waste !!!!!

John and Desi — it is also my understanding the the new Lamplighter coffee place on Addison serves Country Style Doughnuts. Which I think is GENIUS and a huge service to those of us who are in the Fan more than in the East End!

STILL missing Rainbow! :( There IS no place to compare…My Tastey Bake on 25th street closed with the BEST glazed long johns and now my other place.

Those “dudes” hanging around?…. :) nothing can keep you from a good donut — IF you want one! :) Just “man-up” and walk on…amazingly…good food will give you guts! LOL I’ve searched and searched… what is Donut Connection, that’s “?” don’t like dirty windows…can’t see the goods! :o

I love Rainbow Donuts! I asked the owner about a month ago if he was closing, he said he was trying to find a new location. I would love to know if he found a new place or indeed closed up shop.

Hands down the best donuts in the city. “Sketchy dudes” are often permanent fixtures at a good donut shop.

If you all are talking about the Rainbow Doughnuts at 2722 W. Broad street by the CVS, that’s um, East of the Boulevard. I went there once every three years. Guess, I won’t be goin there no more.

They didn’t sell out to McDs. The owner of the building where they were located did. They would have loved to stay in the location.
