I’m guessing the butterflies are at an elementary school.

The cannon looks like the memorial chapel?
I’m going to go with Val, Maybe Albert Hill Middle?
The fish is Maury Pathfinder to the seas!
I’m pretty sure that is the pothole on the 195 on ramp.
Followed by the new parking lot on Monument
The door to the DotC?

The third image of steps to the earthen stage is between Patterson and Kensington and Nansemond and Roseneath. Though I forget the name of the school right across the street. Which sucks considering I live right next door to it.
I know some of the others, but I really like that stage.

So far Ross is correct on all but the butterflies, and Jason located the earthen stage next to Albert H. Hill School.

Thanks for this!
If memory serves, the Duke’s Shoes ghost sign is on Sheppard Street, I think-oooh, (squinting to remember) between Grace and Broad. I think.
The Maury Monument is my favorite of the set. Near that fish is a bat.
I have to admit, too, that the Virgin Mary statue has me stumped. I’d guess near Benedictine?
The location of that temperature gauge likewise has my brow furrowed.

Harry got Duke’s Shoes!
Still on the list: butterflies, Virgin Mary, and the temperature gauge.

I know there is a big yellow house on … Grove and Belmont? I’ve never seen the temperature gauge. It is sweet looking though.

Hint: that’s not a house.

The Virgin Mary is part of the front facade of St. Gertrudes on Stuart Ave.

I see the still unfixed pothole on the I-195 entrance from Thompson.
August 14th, 2007 @ 5:27 pm
That’s right!

The butterflies are Premiere/Ellmans in Carytown, added as part of the renovation of the building.
