No problems voting @ Albert Hill
At 7:55 AM, I was the ~600th person to vote at Albert Hill. There was no line and things were running very smoothly. Hopefully that continues the rest of the day.

I have no idea how many people voted at Humphrey Calder, but there was ~45 minute line @ 6:30AM when I voted and no line by the time I drove to work @ 8:30. Early turnout or people dissuaded by the rain?
There wasn’t really a line at Albert Hill when I voted at 9, but they said the line had been out the door at 6.
At John B. Cary, it took me 2 hours (6:20AM – 8:20AM) to perform my civic duty this morning. Perhays I will wait until early afternoon next time.
Voting officials announced that 40% of registered voters had already voted by 10AM, not including absentees. I’m guessing the other 60% will show up at 6:59 pm.
I had the same experience as Fiona, with the addition of a blinking “Low Battery” light on my machine (#1).
two friends who vote in henrico stated they were asked for two forms if ID, does that seem right to anybody? VA SBE website implies only one is required, or none if you are OK with a provisional ballot. seems like monkey business. (please note I am in favor of requiring ID, just think it hinkie that rules may not have been evenly enforced)
could be a verification of address if a drivers license did not match the poll area, my DL is one showing an Alexandria address with a change card beneath it but the voter ID card shows a proper address.
By right an officer of election can ask for verification of current address if they should so choose.
that’s not it either, they have both lived at their current addresses since prior to the last pres. election. moot point now I guess, but i did find it curious
