No more pianos in Carytown

From Urban Richmond?:
While I hate to see businesses leave the city for the suburbs, a business- like a piano shop- that doesn’t attract casual pedestrian traffic perhaps doesn’t need to be in Carytown- one of the few truly pedestrian-friendly shopping areas in Richmond.
I totally agree. I never understood how the piano store or the rug store stayed in business. No offense to piano or rug afficinados, of course.

I know what you mean, but I have fond memories have pressing my face up against that window as a kid and looking at all the pianos.

It is a fair point and I guess a fair reason to leave, but they are going to the suburban hellhole of the west end near Short Pump, which makes me sad.
Ah well …

Its a big space, it’d have to be something big. What if it was, like, and Old Navy? That’d be crazy.
