Need a large Native American Statue?
It looks as if Connecticut, the ginormous statue climbing out of the Diamond, is moving.
In an effort to keep a part of Richmond history intact, the RMA is listening to offers to host the statue.
Do you have any recommendations on where it should end up?

It would look awesome somewhere by the river, either Belle Isle or along the Virginia Capital Trail/Canal Walk.
It should go on Oregon Hill Parkway, by the gazebo, across from War Memorial, visible while driving Lee Bridge and while enjoying Belle Isle!
How about on the west side of the RMA garage downtown, overlooking the Downtown Expressway?
Just undo the bolts and let it sit there a while. You’ll find it for sale at Governor’s Antiques before you know what happened, and that will take care of the problem of where to put it.
I was hoping it would find its way across the street to somewhere in Scott’s Addition. Maybe on top of the bus station. Even better, the tattoo shop. And they could advertise their ink on the statue itself.
Put it on Monument Avenue with the other monuments to racism.
Doug Wilder’s house? After all, he’s the reason the Braves left. Maybe he should take some of the Braves with him.
