From the Museum District Association…
The Museum District Association, in cooperation with the Clean City Commission, is sponsoring a Neighborhood Alley Clean Up. Volunteers are needed!
When: Saturday, October 20 ∙ 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: Benedictine High School Parking Area, 3000 block of Hanover Ave. at Belmont Ave.Rain or Shine – Please Be Sure to Bring a Pair of Gloves and Help Clean Up Our Neighborhood!
Neighborhood volunteers, with the help of the Department of Public Works, will collect bulk trash, yard waste, abandoned tires, appliances and other discards for this one-day only event. Volunteers should assemble in the rear parking area of Benedictine High School between 7:30 AM and 7:45 AM for refreshments and meet-and-greet.

Thanks to the volunteers that attended the cleanup, the entire neighborhood was picked up during this event. Some brush piles or heavy items were left and a citizen request Ticket entered.
Remember, through the citizen request online application, you can request a bulk pickup for large items not usually picked up during the weekly trash collection. For details see the city’s website. They hope to have it updated for the next 6 months very soon.(http://www.richmondgov.com/departments/publicworks/refuse.aspx)
