More VHS Secrets revealed

Tipster Allison recently responded to our call for answers regarding the VHS exhibit Jamestown, Québec, Santa Fe: Three North American Beginnings. I asked, “Why Santa Fe and not St. Augustine?

Turns out, Santa Fe is just cooler. The exhibit’s creators picked three cities from three cultures who started colonies in America. They could have picked St. Augustine, but the artifacts from Santa Fe just made a better exhibit - there was a lot more going on there, and the city was much more prosperous.

Who knew?

Also, Andi joined the staff of WOTBN.net for the summer and started out strong with a piece about the Virginia Historical Society’s new exhibits. Welcome Andi!
