This is quite good news. I truly hope them the best; they are opening at a good time to make maximum use of the deck that the place has. I don’t know why that spot hasn’t quite perked; seems like the coffee shops lasted longer than anything.
But management makes a difference, and experience, and sounds like Mezzanine has a leg up far as that’s concerned.
The name also as a contemporary literature pedigree that, well, my guess is the owners don’t know about; but it’d an amusing for-those-who-know piece of atmosphere to have laying about on a table:

Incredibly delicious! Great service and savory, fresh food. What a wonderful addition to Richmond. The food is innovative and not overpriced.
