Folks shared their personal concerns, history with the issue over time, and potential paths to resolution. The group was in favor of a follow-up session with institutions in the area that they felt contributed to the parking issue (museums, schools, churches) with the goal of identifying some viable opportunities for relief. One way streets in the neighborhood may need to be revisited and cyclists do seem to be fearless , however, I would be surprised if the driving culture of cyclists and motorists of the community and its visitors is in the scope of a resident parking meeting @Morgan

First, it's a one-way street. All kinds of idiots race down Sheppard between Kensington & Patterson in the wrong direction. Secondly, I have major beef with cyclists in the Fan & Museum district. For Christ's sake, bikes are vehicles: stop at stop signs. I have almost taken out at least 8 cyclists running stop signs in the past 6 months. Hopefully they will find some other means to correct the problem as I feel that the permit parking simply moves the problem to someone else's block. Unrelated to the parking issues along Sheppard but going directly to the Headmaster or Commandant of Cadets at Benedictine is always an option if students are being poor neighbors.
