It is a fantastic exhibit including broad presentation of the conflicts these men faced personally and professionally leading up to the Civil War, through its battles, and on through reconstruction. It reinforced for me the complexity of the issues at hand in the conflict and just how intense was the debate at the time. Our tour guide stated he was surprised at the level of regionalism still surrounding these two men? Were you? For my part, it was a terrible conflict and I wish our nation had learned more from it. I agree with Sam, it is “Fair and balanced FOR REAL”.
