I went to the Lee & Grant exhibition at Virginia Historical Society over the weekend, and it was fantastic. I highly recommend checking it out before it closes on March 31st.

Duh, Lee.
I’d never been to the VHS and had a great time! The exhibit was really fair and balanced which was nice. Great job VHS.

Not “fair and balanced” like Fox News. Fair and balanced FOR REAL.

I agree with Sam, it is “Fair and balanced FOR REAL”.
It is a fantastic exhibit including broad presentation of the conflicts these men faced personally and professionally leading up to the Civil War, through its battles, and on through reconstruction. It reinforced for me the complexity of the issues at hand in the conflict and just how intense was the debate at the time.
Our tour guide stated he was surprised at the level of regionalism still surrounding these two men? Were you?
For my part, it was a terrible conflict and I wish our nation had learned more from it.

FYI…VHS is open free of charge on Sundays and under 18 can tour for free throughout the week
