ET’s laundromat is no more!
The mat on Sheppard near Patterson has about 60% of the machines out of order, some since May of 2007.
The one on Floyd just over the Boulevard is fine but is pretty crowded at times.
The Lost Sock is pretty much in a perpetual state of disrepair.
It’s surprising that in this area where a lot of people are without W/D, there isn’t one entrepreneur running a clean, cool mat.

Dan, I agree.
The little one down at Robinson and Park just got a total makeover.
I spent many hours in mats afore I came into a house with w/d already installed. They are a place for social interaction (well, sometimes) and occupy a unique niche: neither coffee shop nor bar, yet an intersection for many different people, and where news of what’s going on is posted on the bulletin boards.

Perfect–thanks Harry. I’ll be checking that out this weekend.

the cleveland st landromat (between kensington and stuart) is clean and functional with washers big enough to handle comforters. AND it’s adjacent to kramer’s market, with stuff to munch and drink during the wait

Any mats open late (>9:00)? Tks.

Cleveland St. one is good, I don’t mind the Patterson/Belmont one. I do miss the one next to ET, though, with it’s late hours. Just happy I’m moving to a place with w/d…

Completely forgot the Wi-Fi hot spot laundry down on Sheppard near Monument. I think it’s open past 9. Forgot to jot the hours.
