It’s easier to blanket the two crimes by saying “a little spray paint” and “death.” The punch (I must profess ignorance in the facts of the case) was a one-time event and the final result (death) was very likely unintentional.

Mr. Creativity, on the other hand, intentionally damaged property on many occasions and is therefore, a habitual offender.

Would the lethal puncher violate again with a lessor sentence? Probably not. Would the graffiti “artist.” Probably so.

Undoubtedly the lethal punch should have gotten the perpetrator scientifically more than a year in jail, though nothing can compensate for the life lost.

However, if you are asking me to feel sorry for “Last” or wish him lighter sentence, no way.

Besides the 80 days are basically putting a kink in his weekends only. How sad.

Honestly though I would have settled for him having to physically remover every-(*&$#^%)-one of his tags at his own expense. Either that or if he could have had all of his personal belongings spray painted by his victims.

80 days in jail, YEARS of suspended time and 1000 hours of community service? and the guy who punched someone and KILLED them got a year in prison…way to go richmond. way to set your priorities.

I think the little prick ought to be lashed and put in a public cage…I’d throw some rotten fruit at him for a day. Still, it’s good to see that some consequences are there for these jerks. Let’s catch some more of these idiots.
