John B. Cary keeps principal

Last Thursday, hundreds of upset parents and students packed the school, mad that Phillips was being transferred from Cary to Bellevue Elementary. They say she is one of the reasons why the school has such a good academic standing.

Toda’s RTD article on the story hints at some other tensions there but doesn’t really go into it.

I’m surprised with “hundreds of parents” up in arms no one thought to let little ol’ WotBN know.
Also is that really true that RPS likes to rotate principals to “keep them fresh?” Can that possible be a good idea?
