I-64 lane closures coming

Next week marks the last phase of construction on I-64 between the Bryan Park Interchange and Staples Mill exit.  VDOT announced a series of lane closures that will wrap-up the project…

  • May 29th, 30th, and 31st @ 8 p.m. - lane closures on I-64 East
  • June 1st, 2nd, and 3rd @ 8 p.m.  – lane closures on I-64 West
  • June 2nd (a.m.)– Staples Mill Road exit closed from I-64 West

The big news is that this is the last of the closings, and the project is complete.  To be more precise, the project will finish ON BUDGET and AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.  That sure is nice to report.
