Hurrah! Fresh gravel laid in alleys!
I drove home to a beautiful sight today – fresh gravel has been laid in the alley between Patterson and Park. No longer does the alley drive resemble a pot-holed road in the developing world. On the downside, my idiot neighbor already left tire tracks while speeding through the gravel, so the benefits may be short-lived.
Have other alleys been similarly repaired?
The alley between Floyd and Grove from Nansemond to Thompson was leveled and re-graveled earlier this summer. People drive way too fast through here so it only took about two weeks for them to re-dig the ditch on the curve halfway down the alley. Sad.
The alley near the Grayland Tot Lot was re-graveled, too. South of Grayland west of Sheppard.
Our alley got re-graded a few months ago and lasted pretty long and it was SO NICE. Some rain holes are popping up now.
