HGTV films “Property Virgins” WotBSoC

From tipster Andy…

Tonight, HGTV was shooting part of an episode of “Property Virgins” in the 3300 block of Parkwood Ave. in Carytown South.  Apparently, the couple in the show bought a house in the West End, and they were using the Parkwood as a cityscape background for a segment of the episode.

  1. But the “Property Virgins” didn’t buy in fashionably scruffy, or, scruffily fashionable WoBSoC, did they? Humph.

So they’re in the West End, and Parkwood getting used for…second unit background? I don’t get it.

  2. I guess for a national show, you’d expect that sort of thing…but it just reinforces what Richmonders know about unique character of the Fan/Museum District vs. the West End.

  3. Any idea on when this is airing? I have a feeling this wont be Richmond at all… but instead, Chesterfield. Ick.
