Grab the mic @ Cafe Diem

Cafe Diem and Style Weekly bring you Open Mic Night @ Cafe Diem, this Monday from 7-10pm. Musicians of all styles are invited to compete for the top prize - a $100 gift certificate to Guitar Center. Plus, there’s no entry fee.

The last winner was an 8-piece brass band, and they competed against hip hop, rap, and rock artists. Be prepared for a wide range of styles of music. Additional Open Mic dates are scheduled for July 9th and 23rd.

I’m always impressed by the music that Cafe Diem puts on.

  1. I strolled by Cafe Diem around 7pm last night, and it was fairly crowded for being so early. One of the rap stations (I don’t know if it was 92.1 or 106.5) had their hummer parked out back and a guy sleeping at the wheel. I bet he was supposed to be handing out stickers or something.
