This probably deserves a thread of its own; but, if you’ve ambled down Cary Street since the Watermelon Festival — Glass & Powder is shutting down its Carytown store. Got no other deets than that.
But, there goes another one and one of the retailers that seemed to have some success here, rather than the ill-fortuned Short Pump attempt.

About time. Nothing more then a wannabe PacSun. Full of a bunch of hardgoods they didn’t use or understand.
I worked at Dominion while attending VCU and not a week went by without a kids dragging his deck in our shop with trucks mounted backwards or with a mismatched set of wheels they bought at G&P.
And let’s not forget the time G&P sent a kid out the door with only one bearing set in each wheel!
Or without tightening the screws on a snowboard binding and then blaming the customer for not checking their hardware “after every run” (direct quote) when the bindings pulled out and stripped the inserts.
You can only screw the customer so many times before they stop coming in… G&P got what they deserved.
