The Virginia Public Access Project has posted first-quarter campaign finance reports filed by candidates for the November 6 Richmond City Council. This filing period covers Jan. 1, 2012-March 31, 2012. The next filing deadline for these candidates is June 4.

If you look closer at the VPAP report, it also says that Diradour got a $20,000 donation from one person. Are you kidding me? Does anyone else think this is odd?

These are very different candidates. They have about equal the cash on hand right now. Charles Samuels has 196 cash donors. Charlie Diradour has 28 cash donors, with his largest donor giving him $20,000. Diradour is Rick Perry of Richmond.
