Filming on Cleveland?

Posted on | June 3, 2009 | 5 Comments

We’ve gotten a bunch of emails today about a film crew on Stuart near Cleveland. Anyone know any more details?

My name is Frank and I live on Stuart Ave. between Tilden and Cleveland. I noticed that Cleveland St. is closed between Stuart and Kensington and there appears to be a relatively big film crew setting up. Any idea of what’s going on?  Thought I’d just pass this along.  Thanks!

And:

Cleveland between Kensington & Stuart was shut down this morning for what appeared to be a film shoot. They towed cars around 7AM and there were several large trucks with equipment set up in the street and near the parking lot of the Lee School Lofts. It looked like a green vintage sports car was parked in front of Kramer’s for the shoot.

And:

It may be a local commercial shoot but there is a big crew there between Kensington and Stuart in front of Kramer’s Market.

Bill Murray was spotted all over town this weekend so it’s possible the 2 are related… It’s also possible that they are completely un-related. I just thought I’d toss it out there…

I saw that last week or before as well. It was a shooting for a Virginia Lottery commercial.
