HGTV films “Property Virgins” WotBSoC
From tipster Andy… Tonight, HGTV was shooting part of an episode of “Property Virgins” in the 3300 block of Parkwood Ave. in Carytown South. Apparently, the couple in the show bought a house in the West End, and they were using the Parkwood as a cityscape background for a segment of the episode.

Countdown to Mezzanine’s grand opening
Mezzanine, the most highly-anticipated restaurant to hit Carytown since Karsen’s, is putting on the finishing touches and planning to open this month. Owner Randy O’Dell said that pending inspections, Mezzanine will open its doors in about two weeks.
