Karsen’s to be reincarnated as “Water Grill”

The White Knights of the Richmond Restaurant Group and Michelle Williams (from Michelle’s at Hanover Tavern) have scooped up the remains of Karsen’s and will turn it into a seafood restaurant in early June. According to Style, the restaurant will feature “a signature water feature.” I’m thinking Bellagio fountains.

Ellwoods Coffee now open?!?!

Ellwood Thompson’s blog states that Ellwood’s Coffee, their organic, fair trade coffee shop, is now open. Soft open, that is, as they work out the kinks. The formal opening is slated for Wednesday. They also have free wifi.
