The cleanup is slated for Sunday, August 1, 2010 (10:00am – 3:00pm).
The cleanup will start on the exit ramp from 195 to Cameron St and continue through Carytown.

Rate Hike at GRTC
For all you GRTC riders, the city council approved a 25 cent rate hike starting July 25th. The extra cost is to help defray the $50 million deficit at GRTC.

So the City Council is considering a new ordinance on so-called nightclubs and dance halls. This ordinance is partially in response to the recent shootings down in Shockoe Bottom.
