Ellwood Thompson’s on NBC12’s terror watch list

I hesitate to link to this since it automatically starts playing a video when the page loads, but here it is.  Make sure you turn your speakers down.

ET’s walks away with six critical violations.

  3. I love that channel 12 thinks this segment is newsworthy. Salmonella outbreak? Sure. E Coli? Absolutely. Uncovered food in the walk-in? Whatever. 10 minutes earlier and they’d have seen the saute cook doing a bump and/or a waitress and busboy doing unspeakable things next to the lettuce.

People would stop eating out if they knew what goes down in most restaurant kitchens.

  4. oh man is that ever the truth. Like laws and sausages, the less you know about how it’s made, the better you’ll sleep at night.

So, yes, Ellwood’s did have a bad report in December. Please note that all the violations were corrected during the visit.

The next inspection in March, yielded 2 violations, one of which was that a cook had taken the top off her glass of water.

While we’re not perfect, there has been a lot of improvement.
