Don’t get robbed by a guy sitting *in* his car.
Apparently “a heavy set black male between 35 and 40 possibly driving a dark colored 4-door vehicle” is robbing people from the driver’s seat of his car. His MO is to ask for directions, pull a gun, and demand “money or jewlery.” I hear he is targeting “Richmond Neighborhoods.”
So watch out.
Lazy bum can’t even bother to get out and come to ME to rob me. Sheesh, what is this world coming to…
I’d like to point out a certain website that had the story at least 1 full day before WRIC.
I almost said something like “some other neighborhoods probably should worry about this more than us” while linking to CHPN. But then I thought that would be rude ; )
part of me says “run in the opposite direction from the car”. i mean really is he going to do a u-turn and drive through someone’s lawn? or try and shoot at you awkwardly from the drivers side window. is he wearing a seat belt – that would further hinder his aim i’d think…. on the other hand these ideas would maybe get me shot.
i’d chance it though just to see if my theories were correct.
Yeah I always wonder what if you don’t have cash or jewels? I mean most days I have nothing to steal other than some credit cards I will immediately cancel and a cellphone that can’t be worth much.
Will he shoot me because I don’t carry cash? I’d almost want to chance it to see what would happen too.
