Dog found on Grayland

Some neighbors and I worked with a dog yesterday who was found on Grayland Ave. She had been hanging around this one spot for about 24 hours. She has a collar but no tags. She’s mostly white with brown spots and seems older, and maybe 45-50 lbs. If this sounds familiar to anyone who might be missing a dog, please email back. Or, if you know a shelter (no kill) or someone who would be willing to take the dog, also please let me know. Thanks.

  1. I am very glad someone took that poor doggie in … I tried but she wasn’t feeling very friendly at the time.

If you are looking for no-kill shelters for her

AARF (Animal Adoption & Rescue Foundation) 254-0800
    and
FURS (Friends United with the Richmond Shelter) 364-1944
    are good bets

as is the Richmond SPCA, but they are generally pretty booked up.

I hope the dog finds her way home (or to a new home) soon!

  2. I think I read on the Carytown Yahoo group thingy (which should just send WotBN tips instead) that owner and puppy have been reunited.
