Copper thieves nailed

Richmond Police arrested two men who were in the process of stealing copper from a Northside home. No word on whether these guys are the same who were de-coppering Museum District homes, but there’s a good chance.

Fourth Precinct Detective Thomas O’Dell said today’s arrests were possible because “citizens recognized something suspicious in their neighborhood and immediately called the police.”

  1. Just to let you know that last month a copper thief helped him/herself to the copper downspout on St. Mark’s on the Boulevard also. Probably the same people.
