City bungled R-Braves negotiations
Today the mayor’s office released correspondence between Richmond’s Deputy Chief Administrative Officer / CFO Harry Black and the Atlanta Braves’ Executive Vice President Mike Plant on the topic of building a new stadium. Basically, the email chain goes as follows:
Harry Black: Are we all set to go for the new stadium North of Robin Hood Road? Thanks!
Mike Plant: What? We’ve had no input into deciding that location.
That was a week ago, no correspondence since.
