Christmas Parade Deets

Posted on | November 30, 2007 | No Comments

As you may know, the Richmond Christmas parade is tomorrow, treking from the Science Museum to the Coliseum along Broad Street. Here’s what you need to know…

  • The parade starts at 10am. Broad Street will begin closing at 5am in various locations, so steer clear.
  • The temperatures will still be in the 30s at 10am, so bundle up.
  • Grinches can watch the parade on NBC12. They’ll be rebroadcasting the parade on December 15th in case you sleep in.
  • The parade has banned throwing candy from floats. Get a seat close to the street if you want to score some free candy, which must be passed out by hand.
