Chop Suey Tuey now has comic book section

Chop Suey in Carytown has been slowly increasing its inventory of comic books and now has a complete section devoted to them. The store teamed up with Velocity comics, and features a wide variety of graphic novels.

    The back has been just comics for a while now. I stop in there a couple times a year to pick up The Walking Dead anthologies.

    I’ve been thinking about starting another series, but not sure which.

    If I had to pick a good recent series, I’d say Brian Wood’s DMZ.

    I like Walking Dead, but the soap opera dialogue has kinda shifted it from “must buy” to “read at Barnes & Noble.” More zombies, less whining!

    They’ve had comics since the first time I went in there. When I went in the whole back section was devoted to Velocity, and that was at least in December so I don’t know how this is new.

    Yeah seriously, the first couple anthologies were astounding. But now it’s jumped the shark a bit.
