Carytown SunTrust robbed by woman in a halter top and boots

The Richmond Police Department is looking for a suspect in this morning’s robbery of the SunTrust bank at 3513 W. Cary St. Shortly after 10:30 a.m. a female entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. A weapon was not displayed. The suspect is a black female, 20 to 27 years of age, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 130 to 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, blue jeans, and boots. Anyone with information on this bank robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000

Would love to know the security policy at these banks. Must have been some menacing note! How can these people be so stupid as not to know they are on camera anyway? Best of luck to Richmond’s finest.

Do you mean Wachovia?
I don’t know of any Suntrusts in Carytown, unless by chance Suntrust took over that building where the Wachovia is in the Ukrop’s shopping center.

Suntrust is in the Kroger shopping center.

This is outrageous. Only Wall Street brokers and bank CEOs are allowed to rob banks. Maybe she heard that Suntrust needed their money bailed out.
