In case you burn your turkey in the fryer this year, there’s always backup. Farouk’s House of India at 3033 W. Cary Street will be open for business on turkey day. Nothing says Thanksgiving like a giant portion of Tikka Masala.
In case Indian Food is not your thing on Thanksgiving, Richmond.com has a list of all the restaurants open for business.

Farouk’s will be open again this year. It’s a different type of Americans-and-Indians tradition, but it still works.

I hate dried out turkey, crustly dressing, and bland vegetables..wish I were going to be in town for SomethingSomething Josh instead. Their roasted eggplant curry (baingan bartha) and some biryani with lamb would be awesome! Hope they have busines out their ears this Thanksgiving
