Cadets, Springers advance in tourney

The Benedictine Cadets and Highland Springs Springers, the top two seeds, advanced last night in the Richmond Times Dispatch High School Basketball Invitational Tournament.
Top ranked Benedictine, coming off their shocking upset of #1 in the nation Oak Hill Academy, beat Douglas Freeman 57-48. They face Huguenot tonight.
The Springers, rank #2 in the area, crushed Dinwiddie 86-44. They play Hermitage tonight.
This sets up a possible showdown of the top two seeds in the finals on Saturday.
