Burger Bach is open in the former Ellwood Cafe
Mike Ripp’s new spot, Burger Bach, opened quietly last week at 10 S. Thompson St., in the old Ellwood Café, and the Twitterverse is already buzzing about the incredible selection of New Zealand-sourced, grass-fed burgers.
Beef burgers, lamb burgers, veggie burgers, all which can be complemented with an order of fries and an equally stunning selection of draft beers or (largely) New Zealand wines.

This place is not welcoming to us, and the food is not good.
My burger was DELICIOUS! The staff was amazing! I thought the entire atmosphere was excellent. I will definitely be visiting again!
Went for the first time tonight. The food was great. The burger was one of the best I had in a while and the fries were excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I can’t wait to go back.
