Ben & Jerry’s, Wachovia robbery suspects nabbed

  1. More info from RTD…

    “Police said today they have charged Corey A. Thomas, 30, of the 1900 block of Bloom Lane, with Monday’s robbery and felonious use of a firearm in the robbery of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream in Carytown.”

    Also…

    “The second Carytown robbery occurred at about 6:20 p.m. at the Aquarian Bookstore at 3519 Ellwood Ave. Police said the suspect was not armed and that the robbery is under investigation.”

  3. Hold up a second. They robbed the Aquarian Bookstore? I ask again, an incredulous tone causing my voice to rise, they robbed the Aquarian Bookstore??? This thief was either driven to the edge of desperation by some awful addiction, or he’s just dumb as a box of hammers, and maybe both.

    I would’ve thought the Aquarian would have stored up enough good karma to prevent such incidents.
