Universal moving from area to Stony Point

Fire @ 3600 Centre

The 3600 Centre building was evacuated last night as an escalator motor caught fire, closing Broad Street. Smoke filled several floors, but damage is expected to be minimal. via RTD

Benedictine not moving to Goochland

The RTD reports that Benedictine is not moving to Goochland County. The school had been exploring all options as the monastery in charge of the school moved to Goochland. All of the athletic fields, except for basketball, are located in Goochland as well.
