Monkey returns – to Richmond’s 10 most wanted

Remember that monkey in Carytown? It’s back, only this time it bit a child in Byrd Park during the July 4th festivities. Health officials are looking for the monkey’s owner and want to examine the monkey’s general health. If you know anything about the monkey, call the Richmond Health Dept – 382-4363.

Liquor now flowing Sundays at ABC store on Thompson

Thanks to a new law passed by Virginia’s state legislature, approximately one-third of state liquor stores will be open from 1 PM – 6 PM on Sundays, including our own at 10 N. Thompson St.
Now, when you need to get your drink on just past noon on Sunday, you can.

Stairs @ Carytown’s Crenshaw parking lot still closed

Richmond.com posed a question to RMA’s public relations manager asking why the stairs at the Crenshaw Carytown parking lot are closed for construction but no progress is being made. RMA’s response – “The RMA with working with the City of Richmond to identify funding sources for this issue at the Carytown Parking Decks.”

More deets on the Dogwood Dell July 4th celebration

Dogwood Dell’s July 4th celebration is going to be a terrific family-friendly affair. Parking is available at U of R stadium with shuttles beginning at 4 PM. Schedule of events:
